The 21st Century calls for a new ways to gather, check, and quickly disseminate public health information that is clear and relevant to the community. MV is no exception to this new era of good practice in health communication, which is why we have created several avenues to keep the public informed of the key topics with room to dive deeper and expand knowledge on major health concerns like communicable disease, mental health, and systemic racism.

On the 14th, Dr. Erin McGintee will be speaking about Alph-Gal Syndrome (Red Meat Allergy), a condition that commonly affects individuals living with Lyme Disease.

The SafeSitter Babysitting Workshop is two-day workshop to prepare young people for watching after children and teaches best practices for safe childcare. This is a two-day workshop than will run from 11AM to 2PM Saturday and Sunday and is geared toward young people in grades 6 - 8.
